Alice, you have made my job much easier through your accurate and professional work style. You were the glue that brought my department together but most of all you were a good woman that I am proud to call a friend. I believe that God gives us several angels in our lives and you, my friend, are one of mine!
It would be remiss of us not to mention the many people who have asked about Alice since her absence from Chapin Center. There have been a multitude of residents and staff, resident's family members, Alex from UPS, the Fed Ex guy, the mailman and many more. All have expressed how pleasant and helpful Alice was. Just think of all the lives Alice has made brighter.
Alice, we will forever include you in our thoughts and prayers. It's the little things in life that will stir our memories. When we see someone eat a Hershey bar we will remember how you nibbled at one so slowly that it took a week for you to finish. We'll always refer to your desk as Alice's desk no matter who sits there. You always said that we could all be replaced. Well, with all respect, we beg to differ---there is no replacement for Alice Oliverio.
Finally, we would also like to offer our deepest condolences to Alice's beloved family. You were there to care for Alice in her time of need as she had cared for each and every one of you over the years. Thank you and God Bless.
